Superficial Perineal Laceration Palpation model (set of 4)
This training kit contains 4 different palpation trainers.
Allows palpation of different superficial perineal muscle injuries, from intact muscles to 2nd- and 3rd-degree lacerations.
A: Intact superficial perineal muscles (bulbocavernosus, transverse perineal muscle, and external anal sphincter)
B: 2nd-degree perineal laceration (to the bulbocavernosus muscle only)
C: 2nd-degree perineal laceration (to the bulbocavernosus and transverse perineal muscle)
D: 3rd degree perineal laceration (to the bulbocavernosus and transverse perineal muscle and 100% of the external anal sphincter muscle)
These products can be used for palpation many times.
The product can be used for training stitches up to approximately 5 times.
Please note that when carefully removing the stitches after each training session you should avoid cutting into the model to prevent deterioration.
